Age Concern New Zealand Board

The Board is responsible for the governance of the organisation, overseeing the performance and outcomes achieved by the management. The Board sets and monitors the strategic direction, and is accountable back to member Age Concern Councils.

Age Concern Councils elect a National President and National Vice-President. In addition, not less than three, or more than five, other persons may be elected (in accordance with the Constitution) to the National Board to serve two-year terms. The Board can also appoint co-opted members with specific skills or experience for a one-year term.

Board members (re-)elected at the 37th AGM on 14 April 2011 are marked with a +. The majority of the Board was elected at the 36th AGM and have one year of their terms remaining.
